Read Windows 8 BIOS-Product Key
It has become common, that new acquired devices with pre-installed Windows 8 don't have a product key label on the back anymore. Only a tiny Windows 8 label shows that the device was shipped with Windows 8.
The product key of Windows 8 is saved in the BIOS, but it is impossible to get the full key using tools of the operating system (only the last 5 letters are shown).
Of course, this is foolish if you plan to reinstall the operating system - for example, if the vendor's basic installation is full of bloat- and crapware.
For this problem, there is a tool named "Windows 8 Product Key Viewer" - this tool is able to read the full product key with a single click. So it is possible to note the product key and reinstall Windows 8 - by default, the Windows 8 setup tool recognizes the product key in the BIOS automatically.
